Role: Communication & Campaign Specialist

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for connecting people to purpose? Goodstart is looking for a Communication & Campaign Specialist to help shape and share the Goodstart story across our national network.
Reporting to the Lead – Communications, you’ll play a key role in delivering a superior Goodstarter experience by crafting engaging content, campaigns, and communication strategies that inspire and inform.

Your Impact:
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic communications advice and create tools that inform, engage, and inspire Goodstarters across the organisations
- Develop and deliver creative content, campaigns, and resources that amplify the stories of our people and highlight key organisational initiatives
- Contribute to improving Goodstart’s communications framework and engagement tools to ensure messages are localised and impactful
- Collaborate with teams across Goodstart to co-design and deliver clear, compelling, and consistent communications
- Use a centre-led approach to ensure all communication materials resonate with our network of Centre Leaders and support our mission
- Partner with other teams to evolve our communication approach to meet the changing needs of our people

You’ll bring to the table:
- Tertiary qualification in communications and experience in a communications or similar role
- A passion for storytelling and content creation that drives engagement and delivers impact
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop campaigns that “land” well across diverse audiences
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to broker outcomes and rally support across teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas
- Collaborative mindset and confidence to work independently while engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Current QLD Blue Card
Desirable:
- Experience in change communications or internal communications across a distributed network
- Understanding of the early learning or education sector
