Role: Digital Learning Designer
Location: Murarrie, Brisbane (Turrbal and Jagera Lands)
Employment Type: 12 Months, Full-time Fixed term
Bring your design skills to life and help create engaging, accessible and effective learning experiences for 16,500 Goodstarters across the country.
You are a digital or graphic designer who is interested in applying your established design skills to create learning experiences and resources for our people. You have a strong eye for visual communication and enjoy making complex information easier to understand.
You’re comfortable working across a range of digital tools and platforms and are willing to adapt your approach depending on the needs of the project — whether that’s Articulate, Word, PowerPoint or Adobe Creative Cloud.
Your typical week will see you moving between Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Articulate 360, and rapid video development tools such as Vyond and Synthesia, supporting the Learning Experience Designer to bring learning experiences to life. You’ll create or uplift a range of learning resources, including videos, presentation decks, information sheets, reference guides, workbooks and system navigation resources.
This role focuses on creating learning for Goodstart employees. You’ll support enterprise learning initiatives across our corporate and centre-based teams, including induction, compliance and leadership programs.
Reporting into the Learning Lead, you will join a professional learning and development team that values taking the work seriously while also having fun along the way. This is a new position as we continue to expand our digital learning offering.
You’ll bring foundational skills in graphic, digital or multimedia design and an interest in adult learning. You don't need to be an L&D expert — you’ll have the opportunity to develop your learning design capability through practical experience, coaching and collaboration.
