Role: EPMO Analyst

As an EPMO Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of projects and programs across our enterprise portfolio. You’ll provide operational support, maintain portfolio-level reporting, and lead project assurance to ensure consistent practices and adherence to frameworks. By optimising EPMO tools and tracking benefits realisation, you’ll enhance visibility, governance, and performance.

 

Working closely with project managers, delivery teams and senior stakeholders, you’ll identify improvement opportunities, support change initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability and transparency – all while applying your strong analytical skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

 

Your Impact:

  • Build and maintain dashboards that give executives, sponsors, and delivery teams a single source of truth on project status, performance, risks, and trends
  • Analyse data to spot trends, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Support project teams with documentation, initiation, business cases and project setup
  • Run milestone health checks and assurance reviews, coach teams on governance, scope, timeline, budget, and stakeholder engagement
  • Champion frameworks, stage-gate standards, and quality documentation; deliver onboarding, guides, and bite-sized training so adoption sticks
  • Set up measurable benefit plans early, track progress through to post-go-live, and escalate where benefits are at risk
  • Drive effective use of EPMO tools (MS Project, Monday.com, Jira, Power BI) to automate reporting, streamline workflows, and lift data integrity
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with project managers, business owners and senior stakeholders

You’ll bring to the table:

Essential:

  • Minimum 3+ years in a PMO or Project delivery role
  • Strong understanding of project governance and delivery methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile)
  • Experience with project assurance, reporting and benefits management
  • Skilled in tools like Monday, Asana, PMO365, MS Project, Jira, Power BI
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking and stakeholder engagement

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management or related field
  • Experience in education, not-for-profit or social impact sectors
  • Familiarity with EPMO practices
  • Current QLD Blue card
