Role: Funding & Grants Administrator

Location: Murarrie QLD

Employment Type: Full-time,  Fixed Term until December 2027

 

As part of our Centre Support Team, you'll be at the core of this mission, supporting our centre teams to create impactful, high-quality early learning experiences. Your work will help shape the future, ensuring every child gets the best start in life.

 

Your Impact

In this role, you'll help coordinate the day-to-day administration of government funding programs that support kindergarten services across our network.

You'll work closely with centre teams and internal stakeholders to:

  • Coordinate funding applications and supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate funding records and grant registers
  • Monitor key dates, reporting requirements and compliance obligations
  • Prepare and coordinate acquittals and funding reports
  • Track funding allocations and expenditure information
  • Ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready
  • Respond to funding-related enquiries from centres and stakeholders
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • There will be opportunities to support grant applications and identify future funding opportunities, large focus of the role is the coordination, administration, reporting and compliance management of existing funding programs.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong administration and coordination experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working with spreadsheets, reports and financial information
  • The ability to build positive relationships across a large organisation
  • Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Current Working with Children Check for the State or Territory residing
  • Experience working with funding programs, compliance, reporting, government-funded programs or grants administration would be highly regarded but is not essential.
  • Experience in education, not-for-profit, government administration, project coordination or business support environments would also be advantageous.
