Drive the strategy, performance and resilience of Goodstart's core ICT infrastructure while leading a high-performing team that supports thousands of employees and nearly 700 centres across Australia.

We're looking for an experienced ICT Infrastructure Manager to lead our infrastructure function and ensure our technology platforms remain secure, reliable and ready for the future. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you'll oversee Goodstart's core infrastructure environment including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networks, telecommunications, end-user technology and IT service management.
You'll play a key role in delivering our technology strategy and supporting the Resilient Technology Foundation (RTF) program, helping modernise our infrastructure, strengthen service delivery and enable innovation across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technology leader who enjoys balancing strategic planning with operational excellence. You'll lead a skilled Infrastructure team, work closely with key technology partners and influence technology decisions that support one of Australia's largest not-for-profit early learning providers.
Your Impact
- Lead Goodstart's ICT Infrastructure Strategy, ensuring technology services are secure, scalable and aligned with organisational priorities.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of core infrastructure including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, telecommunications and end-user technology.
- Drive infrastructure initiatives that improve reliability, simplify technology services and enhance user experience across the organisation.
- Lead infrastructure operations including availability, capacity planning, incident management, change management, release management and IT asset management.
- Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery and infrastructure resilience capabilities remain effective and fit for purpose.
- Build strong partnerships with technology vendors and managed service providers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing Infrastructure team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to Goodstart's ICT Strategy by identifying opportunities to modernise platforms, improve operational efficiency and deliver greater value to the business.

You'll bring to the table
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing enterprise ICT infrastructure and service delivery teams within a complex environment.
- Strong technical expertise across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Experience leading infrastructure operations, IT service management, asset management and business continuity initiatives.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure vendors, technology partners and outsourced service providers.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes including incident, problem, change and release management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative leadership style with a practical, hands-on approach and passion for developing high-performing teams.
- Microsoft certifications or other relevant infrastructure, cloud or networking certifications will be highly regarded.
- Current QLD Blue Card (or willing to obtain one).
