This 6-month full-time opportunity has arisen as a backfill, with the current leader seconded to another key role within the organisation – a testament to Goodstart’s commitment to development and internal growth.
In this inspiring and impactful role, you’ll act as the senior technology leader responsible for the end-to-end strategy, planning, and delivery of our Centre & Family service line — supporting our early learning centres, educators, and families. Your Impact:
You’ll lead a critical technology service line that underpins how our centres operate and how families connect with us every day. From managing a portfolio of applications to uplifting system performance and user experience, your leadership will ensure our digital services are reliable, responsive, and ready to grow with us.
Through strong partnerships and a clear technology roadmap, you’ll help turn strategic goals into real-world outcomes for our people and the children we serve.
What Goodstart can offer you:
- Flexible work arrangements giving you choice about when and how work will be done in order to better manage your work and non-work needs (as agreed with line manager)
- Salary Packaging benefits which reduce your taxable income to increase take home pay
- Access to discounted childcare (up to 15%)
- Discounted health care and access to employee wellbeing program with BUPA
- Exclusive discounts on travel, gym memberships, Apple and Dell products, and more
- Free annual flu shot(optional)
- Option to purchase extra leave for even greater work life balance
- First Nations Support and Cultural Leave
- Work for a company that has an aspiration to be globally recognised for early years practice and learning outcomes
You’ll bring to the table:
- 7+ years of experience in technology leadership roles with increasing scope and complexity
- Proven track record in managing technology service lines or product portfolios
- Strong ability to build trust and collaborate with senior business leaders on strategic roadmaps
- Experience leading or partnering on major transformation or change initiatives
- Deep understanding of service delivery and lifecycle management (e.g., ITIL or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success in uplifting customer satisfaction, service quality, and technical maturity
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Formal training or certification in service management, Agile delivery, or enterprise architecture (highly desirable)
