Role: ICT Senior Project Manager

Our Role:

As an ICT Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex, high-impact technology projects across Goodstart.

Working closely with the ICT Manager and business stakeholders, you’ll take full ownership of projects from initiation through to delivery - ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business priorities.

You will operate within a mature enterprise PMO environment, applying governance, frameworks and delivery standards to ensure successful, consistent project outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver projects, driving continuous improvement, and supporting a more agile, data-driven organisation.

 

Your Impact:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex ICT projects, from initiation through to execution and closure
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with PMO governance, frameworks and delivery standards
  • Manage project reporting, artefacts, risks and issues in accordance with PMO requirements
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams to align priorities and deliver value
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, support, and accountability
  • Support delivery across both agile and waterfall methodologies, adapting approaches based on project needs
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure delivery success
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools and delivery capability
  • Mentor and support project managers and contribute to a high-performing PMO environment

You’ll bring to the table:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline
  • Proven experience delivering complex ICT projects across multiple systems, stakeholders, and business areas
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full project lifecycles, including planning, execution, governance, and delivery
  • Experience working within a structured PMO or EPMO environment, with strong understanding of governance, reporting and delivery standards
  • Experience managing project budgets, risks, dependencies, and competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate across all levels
  • Experience working across both agile and waterfall delivery environments
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and support project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
