We’re seeking an ICT Solution Architect to join our Architecture team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in solution architecture, working alongside experienced architects and delivery teams to design secure, scalable and future-ready technology solutions that enable Goodstart’s strategy.
Based in Queensland with flexible working arrangements, you’ll be part of a close-knit, collaborative team that values learning, innovation and shared success.

You will:
- Design and support end-to-end solution architectures that are secure, scalable and aligned to architectural standards and business needs
- Collaborate with architects, technical leads and delivery teams to co-design practical solutions across complex initiatives
- Provide clear insight into architectural dependencies, risks and trade-offs, supporting informed decision-making
- Contribute to the assessment and integration of new technologies, ensuring alignment with Goodstart’s existing platforms and future roadmap
- Support major transformation initiatives, including strategic technology programs and SAP readiness
- Build strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into fit-for-purpose solution designs
You’ll be supported through mentoring and collaboration, with genuine opportunities to grow your architectural capability while making a real difference at scale.
What Goodstart can offer you:
- Flexible work arrangements giving you choice about when and how work will be done in order to better manage your work and non-work needs
- Salary Packaging benefits which reduce your taxable income to increase take home pay
- Access to discounted childcare (up to 15%)
- Fitness Passport - access to gyms and pools for you and your family at a heavily discounted price
- Discounted health care and access to employee wellbeing program with BUPA
- Exclusive discounts on travel, gym memberships, Apple and Dell products, and more.
- Free annual flu shot (optional)
- Option to purchase extra leave for even greater work life balance
- First Nations Support and Cultural Leave
- Work for a company that has an aspiration to be globally recognised for early years practice and learning outcomes
- Gain significant investment in your growth and development with support, tools, training and experiences that will truly enhance the progress and outcomes for children in their earliest years.
You’ll bring to the table:
We’re looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and ready to step further into architecture.
You’ll bring:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- 2–3 years’ experience contributing to solution design or working closely with architecture teams (e.g. Business Analyst, Technical BA, Systems Analyst, Developer or similar)
- Exposure to multiple architectural domains such as application, data, technology, security or business architecture
- Familiarity with modern technology environments, including cloud platforms (Azure), system and data integration, and legacy-to-modern transitions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A genuine desire to learn, be mentored and develop within a solution architecture career path
