Role: Infrastructure Architect

As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll take the lead in evolving and delivering our hybrid infrastructure environment, blending hands-on technical expertise with strategic oversight. From identity and access systems to networking, virtualisation, and recovery platforms, you’ll design and implement secure, scalable solutions that align with our operational and strategic goals. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you’ll drive innovation, strengthen resilience, and set the direction for Goodstart’s technology landscape.
Your Impact:
In this role, you’ll shape the future of Goodstart’s technology landscape by designing and delivering secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure solutions. Your work will ensure operational continuity, strengthen system resilience, and support the seamless delivery of services across our organisation.
By leading strategic infrastructure initiatives, guiding technical uplift projects, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors, you’ll directly influence the efficiency, security, and innovation of Goodstart’s IT environment.

You’ll bring to the table:
- 7+ years’ experience in enterprise infrastructure roles, with significant hybrid environment and cloud architecture exposure
- Demonstrated track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects from design through to operational handover
- Experience working in large, multi-site or distributed organisations
- Experience leading vendor engagements and managing third-party solution delivery
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and governance in regulated environments
- Evidence of continuous professional development and skills growth in emerging infrastructure technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Formal training or certification in service management, Agile delivery, or enterprise architecture is highly desirable
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
