Role: Legal Counsel

Location:  Murarrie, Brisbane – Ability to work from home 2-3 days per week

Employment Type:  Full-Time, 12-month contract

Your Impact  

We are seeking a lawyer with 4-8 years post admission experience to work in the in-house legal team at Goodstart. The role will provide support to our company across a range of legal areas. Reporting to the General Counsel, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain in-house legal experience within a large and complex national operation.


You’ll help achieve this by  

  • Prior experience in a litigation, commercial or corporate advisory role in private practice or in-house.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels within an organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both as part of an inter-disciplinary team and independently with limited supervision as the context requires.
  • Ability to produce quality work within agreed timeframes to meet client expectations.
  • Conducting complex and sensitive negotiations, with supervision where appropriate.
  • Experience in employment law or property law will also be highly regarded.
