Take the lead in ensuring the success of State Government Kindergarten initiatives and grants, from application to acquittal, as our Funding & Grants Administrator. As a Funding and Grants Administrator, your work will be pivotal in ensuring the effective and efficient management of funding opportunities that support our kindergarten programs.
Your Impact:
As a Funding and Grants Administrator, you will coordinate the evaluation and monitoring of grant-funded initiatives, write compelling grant applications, and manage acquittals, including maintaining master files and completing budget and reporting requirements. You'll identify new funding opportunities, prepare business cases, and oversee the entire grant lifecycle, ensuring compliance with guidelines and managing audit requirements. Your role involves informing stakeholders of all aspects of grant management, developing expertise in State and Federal funding processes, building relationships with government personnel, and collaborating with teams across the organisation to support their funding applications, all while driving the success of our kindergarten programs.

You’ll bring to the table:
- Previous experience in completing applications for government grants or knowledge of grants and grants administration systems and processes
- Financially astute including experience managing budgets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building capabilities
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suit of programs
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience in an early childhood setting would be advantageous
