Role: Talent Onboarding Coordinator

As a Talent Onboarding Coordinator, you'll be the friendly and supportive guide for new Goodstarters joining our organisation. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead and working within our Talent Acquisition team, you’ll support a high volume of new hires, guiding them through the onboarding experience from contract acceptance through to their first day.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll be a key point of contact for candidates, helping them navigate systems, complete required onboarding and compliance activities, and resolve issues that may affect their commencement. Through proactive communication and strong attention to detail, you’ll deliver a positive candidate experience while supporting our centres to successfully welcome new team members.
Your Impact:
- Guide new Goodstarters through every stage of the onboarding process, ensuring they feel supported, informed and ready for Day 1.
- Be the primary point of contact for candidates, answering questions and providing a positive onboarding experience from start to finish.
- Monitor onboarding progress and proactively follow up outstanding documentation, compliance requirements and mandatory learning.
- Ensure all employment conditions, compliance requirements, onboarding documentation and mandatory learning are completed prior to a candidate’s start date.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partner, Employee Services, Learning and IT teams to resolve onboarding and system-related queries.
- Keep onboarding activities on track by identifying and removing roadblocks that could delay a candidate's commencement.
- Maintain accurate onboarding records and employee documentation, ensuring a high level of data integrity across our systems.
- Support the wider Talent Acquisition team through activities such as recruitment inbox management, phone queue support, contract administration and other value-add tasks as required.

You’ll bring to the table:
- A qualification in HR, Business Administration or a related area, with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Experience in onboarding, mobilisation, recruitment administration, HR coordination or a similar role
- Experience working in a high-volume environment and managing multiple priorities and commencement timelines.
- The ability to build positive relationships and communicate confidently with candidates, providing support and guidance throughout their onboarding journey.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- The ability to identify and resolve issues, exercise sound judgement and know when to escalate for support.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.
- Current QLD Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Willing to obtain a Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
