Your Impact  

 

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart New Lambton, you will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children.

 

You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and response to the needs of all children.  

 

You’ll help achieve this by 
 

  • Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
  • Complying with the National Quality Standards and Goodstart policy and procedures.
  • Using and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide to support Senior Educators and Teachers in the delivery of high-quality education programs.
  • Building and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to a professional and positive work culture. 

 

Our Centre

Goodstart Early Learning New Lambton is in a convenient and quiet residential area, close to local shops, schools and community amenities. We are five minutes’ drive from The John Hunter Hospital, 10 minutes’ drive from Newcastle CBD, and in walking distance to local primary schools.

 

We create programs for children daily and use the Early Years Learning Framework as a foundation for our program. We consider our children and family’s culture, interests, needs and abilities, and tailor our program to meet the individual needs within our centre. The centre philosophy is based on our belief that children learn through play, and “RESPECT for others” is a key foundation of our philosophy.

If you have strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, plus hold a Diploma in Early Childhood (ACECQA approved equivalent), then we want to meet you!
