Your Impact !

 

As the 2nd Assistant Director at Goodstart Noble Park you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation and to extend your network of relationships with children, families and educators. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team . 

 

Goodstart Noble Park is a 67 Place Service lated in a residential area close to schools and shops.  We have four spacious age appropriate rooms, where our early learning educators pride themselves on providing a stimulating, educational program in line with the Victorian Early Years' Learning and development Framework - focusing on children 6 weeks to school age. We have a team of culturally diverse educators with a passion for early childhood education.

 

You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.

 

You’ll help achieve this by:-

 

  • Having a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education;
  • Having experience with children from trauma based backgrounds and/or additional needs;
  • Having strong communication skills, specifically with families, in supporting their child's developmental delays;
  • Having the desire to help empower, support and strengthen a large team of educators;
  • Having an empathetic and kind, yet strong, personality to assist families from bilingual backgrounds, and in particular to help educate and support them to empower their children;
  • Having the ability to impact conversations tha educate families about play-based care and developmental needs rather than academic focus;

If you have previous experience as a  Assistant Director, or have substantial experience as a Senior Educator, or similar, then we want to meet you!
