Centre: Goodstart Marleston - under new leadership

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time – seeking a Nursery focussed individual

Pay: Ranges from $35.93 to $37.10 per hour – qualification and experience dependent

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart , you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. 

 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Goodstart Early Learning Marleston is located close to public transport and also offers ample parking at the front of our centre, allowing for easy drop-offs and pick-ups. Catering to 90 early learning places, age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

 

Outside the play spaces and equipment, are all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment. With carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of sustainability.

The centre is committed to creating a warm and welcoming community focused centre and look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all families and children.  

Parent participation is a crucial part of our centre’s success. We have an open door policy at the centre and invite parents to visit at any time throughout the day. We value and encourage all feedback and suggestions.
