  • Deliver a high standard of customer service, including responding to enquiries in a friendly and professional manner

About Goodstart Numurkah:

 

We’re currently seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Part-Time (12 hours a week) Administration Assistant to join our welcoming team at Goodstart Numurkah, a 60-place centre operating 6:30am – 6:30pm.

 

As an Administration Assistant, you will support the Centre Director to deliver key business outcomes and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre. You will be the first point of contact for families and visitors, delivering a warm, professional experience while managing key administrative processes.

This is a dynamic role where strong organisation, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service are essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service, creating a welcoming environment for families and visitors.
  • Manage enrolment enquiries, maintain the waitlist, and support the centre’s attendance pipeline.
  • Coordinate centre tours and respond to general enquiries on behalf of the Centre Director.
  • Support the management of family accounts, bookings and debt reduction.
  • Perform key administrative tasks including e-purchasing, filing, record management and archiving.
  • Assist with calendar and meeting coordination for the Centre Director.
  • Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with families and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and centre performance.

You’ll need:

 

  • Current VIC with Children Check
  • Experience in administration and/or customer service (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
  • A professional, friendly and approachable manner
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards
