As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
  • Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
  • Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

 

 

About Goodstart Nuriootpa

 

Come lead a passionate team in one of South Australia’s most scenic locations – nestled in the tranquil heart of the Barossa Valley, Goodstart Nuriootpa is seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Director to champion excellence in early childhood education.

 

A chance to lead a 75-place service in providing high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. We use the Early Years Learning Framework to create engaging, nurturing environments that foster lifelong learning. Tucked in the quiet of suburbia and surrounded by the vineyards of the district, our centre is also conveniently close to schools, amenities, and transport – making daily drop-offs a breeze.

 

  • Make an impact in a service with growth potential (currently at 59.6% occupancy – year to date)
  • Work within flexible hours between 6:30am–6:30pm
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of passionate Early Childhood Professionals
  • Oversee daily operations and uphold regulatory compliance and quality standards
  • Build genuine partnerships with families, children, and the community
  • Support continuous improvement and drive occupancy growth
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment

You’ll need:

 

  • A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
  • Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
  • Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
  • Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
