About Goodstart Petrie:

  • Goodstart Early Learning Petrie is located in the leafy surrounds of Petrie. We are situated close to North Pine Dam and both Petrie and Kurwongbah Primary Schools. This allows parents to continue their child’s education in one convenient location, and the children to continue on with the friends that they have made at Goodstart Early Learning.
  • Many of our educators have been a part of our team for a number of years, providing an exciting play-based program for each child. We are very fortunate to have Miss Kate who is our Early Childhood Teacher. Miss Kate is able to speak 3 languages, one of which is Mandarin, which is implemented into the daily program.
  • All of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. The educators here strive to cater to each child’s individual needs and developmental requirements.
  • We provide age appropriate programs weekly and ensure that each child’s individual goals are achieved. Our touch screen computers and ipads allow us to teach children about technology and investigate topics on a daily basis.
  • Outside, we currently have two areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. Through a balance of natural and manmade elements we are able to help familiarise the children with the various characteristics of their surrounds, while teaching them about the broader environment and the importance of sustainaibility. But at the centre of everything is fun - and the need to allow the children to stretch themselves and use their imagination.
