As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

🏡 Our Centre – We are a 99-place centre where children learn and grow across five dynamic rooms: Nursery, Tiny Tots, Toddler, Pre-Kindy, and Kindergarten. Our three distinct outdoor play areas are designed for effective supervision and age-appropriate experiences, and we love tending to our shared vegetable garden with both children and staff. You’ll also enjoy a welcoming foyer, a dedicated office space for programming and planning, and a well-equipped staff room for your breaks.

💖 Experienced Leadership – Be supported by our passionate Centre Director, who brings 15 years of early childhood experience (including 11 years as a Centre Director). A mother of three, she deeply understands the needs of both families and educators, and leads with empathy, guidance, and a strong focus on teamwork. With the support of our Assistant Director and Administration team, you’ll benefit from a stable and knowledgeable leadership group.

You’ll need:

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current Western Australian Working with Children Check
