Childcare Centre Cook | Goodstart Shailer Park 

Part-Time Permanent Position 25 hours per week

About You: 

  • Support the health and wellbeing of the children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks 

  • Able to work 25 hours per week working 8.30am-1.30pm. 

  • Certificate III (or equivalent) in Commercail Cooker preferred but not essential

  • Prepare meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies 

  • Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing 

  • Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director 

  • Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks 

  • Willingness to learn and be a part of the team 

  • Strong communication skills, reliable and punctual 

  • Better pay - you’ll get at least 4% above the award rate, increasing to 5% by 2023
