As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.

 

In this role, you will

 

  • Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
  • Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
  • Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business
     

About Goodstart Rockingham

 

  • Goodstart Rockingham is located 47 km south-south-west of Perth on the Whadjuk and Binjareb land of the Nyoongar people
  • We offer you a warm, welcoming centre that places emphasis on the natural environment. From learning environments flooded with natural light to spaces and a playground that provides opportunities for children to learn as they explore, discover, and imagine, Goodstart Rockingham holds a great appreciation and connection to its natural environments
  • As Centre Director you will provide your team with opportunities to explore outcomes associated with creativity, initiative and resilience
  • Each learning environment has been designed with children at the forefront, with opportunities to explore, learn and grow in respectful ways
  • You will also be the conduit to relationships between children, families and the community and highlight the importance of mutual, respectful relationships and partnerships for learning.

You’ll need

 

  • A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
  • Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
  • Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
  • Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
