As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

Goodstart Rockingham is located 47 km south-south-west of Perth on the Whadjuk and Binjareb land of the Nyoongar people. Goodstart Early Learning Rockingham is a warm, welcoming centre that places emphasis on the natural environment. From learning environments flooded with natural light to spaces and a playground that provides opportunities for children to learn as they explore, discover, and imagine, Goodstart Rockingham holds a great appreciation and connection to its natural environments. 

Our centre offers care for children from the age of six weeks up until five years as we celebrate, honour and welcome children, families and educators from a diverse range of nationalities. Educators at Goodstart Rockingham understand the importance of developing secure, respectful, and reciprocal relationships and we use a key educator approach in each of our rooms. Throughout nurturing and responsive relationships, educators create opportunities and moments for children to feel respected, valued and develop confidence. You’ll need: 

• Diploma in Early Childhood or currently studying 

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 

• Current Western Australia Working with Children Check
