As a Room Leader / Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

About Goodstart Rutherford:

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Rutherford is conveniently located near local schools, shops, and community amenities. We care for 75 children daily in an inclusive environment, embracing families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our team consists of qualified educators, with ongoing training to ensure the highest standards in early childhood education.

Our centre offers vibrant, sensory-rich learning spaces for children from Nursery to Kindergarten/Preschool, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework. We prioritize individualised learning, using the Storypark platform and regular family engagement to foster strong communication and tailor programs to each child’s needs and strengths.

Our outdoor areas are equipped with age-appropriate play spaces, including sandpits, sensory paths, gardens, and veggie patches, while our on-site qualified cook provides fresh, nutritious meals. With a solid reputation in the community and strong connections to local schools and services, we provide high-quality care and education for young children.

Meet our Centre Director:

Hello, my name is Chloe, I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Rutherford.

I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have worked in the Early Childhood Sector for over 10 years, including over 9 years within the Goodstart Community.

I have a passion for working with Children and am a strong believer in the benefits of high-quality education and care, especially in the child’s first 5 years of learning.

I inspire a committed work ethic and a supportive team that creates a safe and inclusive centre for all families and children.

You’ll need:

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
