Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

 

Pay: $42.38 - $43.60 p/h (Depending on experience) + Super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Shepparton – Archer Street, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

 

About Goodstart Shepparton – Archer Street

 

Goodstart Shepparton – Archer Street is a 90-place long day care centre located in a quiet residential area close to schools, shops and community facilities.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join our welcoming team at Goodstart Shepparton – Archer Street in a full-time position, supporting children and educators across Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten rooms.


As an Assistant Director, you will:

 

  • Work collaboratively across Nursery through to Kindergarten
  • Support consistent routines and learning experiences across rooms
  • Build trusting relationships with children, families and educators
  • Be flexible and available to work a rotating roster between 6:30am and 6:30pm

 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys supporting teams where needed throughout the day.
