Pay: Ranges from $34.72 to $59.13 per hour – experience and qualification dependent

As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

Goodstart Early Learning Smithfield is situated in Adelaide’s north, within walking distance of Munno Para Shopping Centre and Smithfield Interchange.

The service is licenced for 90 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

 

The centre works to provide children and their families with a safe and challenging environment while offering early-intervention strategies to assist children who might be at risk or disadvantaged. The centre’s approach is an all-of-community one, working within the Enhancing Children’s Outcomes (EChO) framework and Inclusion Support staff to provide training on how best to assist. The centre actively involves families, educators and the wider community in shaping the learning environment. 

 

Foodbank services is available to families, as well as our centre chef providing additional meals for families to take home.

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) 
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards 
  • Current SA Working with Children Check
