As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.  

About Goodstart South Nowra:

Goodstart South Nowra is a purpose-built childcare centre established in 2006, located close to the CBD, primary schools and high schools. We are situated close to public transport, and we have a large off-road centre car park with disability parking and access.

Providing quality care to children from six weeks old to school age, we boast five teaching rooms and two large well equipped playgrounds that allow family grouping. We embrace a multicultural program supported by our local community Elders and multicultural groups.

Our qualified educators provide an environment that allows children to be themselves as they explore, create, investigate and problem solve. Our programs are individually tailored, helping children achieve developmental milestones and school readiness.

You’ll need:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)

• Current NSW Teachers Registration (NESA)

• Current NSW Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
