Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time, 38 hours per week

Pay: $42.38 - $45.84 per hour (depending on qualification and experience) + Superannuation + Benefits

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Toowoomba - Healy Street, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks. 

In this role, you will:  

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care 

• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team 

• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence 

• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide 

About Goodstart Toowomba Healy Street:

• Our childcare centre has a capacity for 74 children daily and features five purpose-built rooms designed to enhance the children’s learning experiences. We offer an approved Kindergarten program led by two on-site Early Childhood Teachers that support the children in a school readiness program. The facility includes two expansive and elongated outdoor play areas, designed to promote physical health, imaginative play, problem solving and creativity.
• We provide flexible work options for our staff, including school hours where possible and support for ongoing training and education. Our team is culturally diverse, with Educators speaking in Mandarin, Hindi, English, Arabic, Gujarati, and Auslan sign language.
