In this role, you will:  

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care 

• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team 

• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence 

• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide 

About Goodstart:

• Located in the inner Darwin Area along the Stuart Highway. This makes the centre popular with people who work in Darwin City and for those who work in Palmerston.  
• Licences for 75 children per day
• We are lucky to have a swimming pool which helps us cool down on hot days.
• Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities.
• Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
