We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to develop programs and practices that are responsive to our children’s needs and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard. You will be part of our supportive culture and have access to a qualified mentor to support your professional development and growth.


Our Centre 


Goodstart Early Learning Tapping is an EXCEEDING service located in a quiet street in a new suburb opposite St. Stephens School. We are close to local schools and shops as well as community amenities and public transport services.

We are a purpose built centre with four large spacious rooms and shady outdoor environments providing care and education for children aged six weeks to five years old. Children and families at our centre come from a diverse range of nationalities and we enjoy incorporating these cultures and experiences into our centre programs. We maintain strong relationships with local schools, businesses, public services and assist families at our centre to make connections with these services and with one another.




  • Assess children’s learning and development and apply pedagogical expertise to inform curriculum decisions
  • Maintain and apply expert knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children and the centre team
  • Model effective application of pedagogy in teaching practice
  • Contribute to a professional and positive work culture

The requirements


  • Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Hold a WA WWCC (or be willing to apply for one)
  • ‘Exceeding’ centre
  • Hold a current First Aid qualification
  • Full time, permanent position in the Kindergarten room
  • Roster can be negotiable for the right applicant
  • 2nd ECT working in the same room
  • Professional Development Opportunities,
  • Dedicated programming time
  • Able to assist and mentor other staff in the centre
  • Plan innovative and engaging learning experiences
  • Champion positive and meaningful relationships with children
