Your Impact   

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart Toormina, you will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader and Room Leaders within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. 

You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and response to the needs of all children.  

You’ll help achieve this by   
 

• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
• Complying with the National Quality Standards and Goodstart policy and procedures.
• Using and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide to support Senior Educators and Teachers in the delivery of high-quality education programs.
• Building and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
• Contributing to a professional and positive work culture. 

Our Centre

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Toormina is a lovely little oasis conveniently tucked away in the heart of the suburb’s industrial precinct, close to the airport, university and just off Hogbin Drive.

Our teachers and carers are passionate for making each moment meaningful for the children. We have up to 76 children at the centre each day and offer care from Nursery through to Kindergarten / Preschool.

If you have strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, plus hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (ACECQA approved equivalent), then we want to meet you!
