About Goodstart Warnbro South:

Our centre is located in the local community of Warnbro South in the city of Rockingham, conveniently located on 5 Minilya Loop Warnbro, not far from Warnbro Shopping Centre. We educate and care for children between six weeks and six years old across three indoor learning spaces. The learning environments at Goodstart Warnbro South are designed with a focus on play based and teacher initiated learning and development.

Our nursery learning space caters for 12 children per day and has a focus on supporting children to reach their developmental milestones such as sitting up, crawling, rolling over and walking. The open space allows the children to build confidence to achieve these milestones with the support and guidance of the experienced educators in the room. Learning experiences are researched appropriately to ensure they build on the children’s strengths. All learning experiences are safe and engaging.

The toddler learning space caters for 15 children per day. In this environment children learn routines like toileting, serving their own meals, group play and self-regulation. The environment is set up with many small play areas which provides children autonomy over their learning.

Our preschool/kindergarten learning space caters for 29 children per day and has a strong focus on school readiness. Writing, literacy, science, maths and social skills are encouraged through many learning experiences carried out in both small and large groups with assistance and guidance from educators and our early childhood teacher.

Our outdoor learning spaces, which include many engaging resources such as bikes, climbing frames, balls, parachute play and much more, allow children to engage in their own play with peers. They are able to develop gross motor skills as well as learn sharing and turn taking techniques. Our environment and gardens allow children to interact with and care for our natural environment. Quiet spaces and designated learning areas allow for independent play discovery.

Our early learning educational programs cater to each individual child's stage of development. Our curriculum is centred around the Early Years Learning Framework and is tailored to each child's unique strengths, needs and interests.

Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of ‘Meeting’. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.

With a highly experienced team on board, Goodstart Warnbro South offers your family high quality early learning and care.  All of our experienced educators hold formal qualifications, including Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching degrees, Certificate III and Diplomas in Children’s Services and are passionate about delivering a leading early learning curriculum in a welcoming and inspiring environment.   Our school readiness goals focus on supporting children to transition to school and we have close connections with local schools such as Koorana Primary, Port Kennedy Primary and Warnbro Primary.

We use Storypark to share your child's learning. This industry leading program lets you see the learning experiences of your child and allows you to interact with educators to enable real connections between what your child learns at Goodstart Warnbro South and what happens at home.
