Your Impact  

 

As an Educator at Goodstart Woongarrah, you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children.You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and response to the needs of all children.  

 

Our Centre

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Woongarrah is in a safe and quiet residential area, close to schools, shops, and public transport.

 

We are an EChO centre which stands for Enhancing Children’s Outcomes. We have a child and family practitioner at the service 2 days a week (Monday and Wednesday). We have a speech therapist attend the centre weekly to support educators in language development. The centre has commenced a partnership with Ngroo and will be having an Aboriginal mentor attend the centre fortnightly. 

 

You’ll help achieve this by 
 

  • Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
  • Complying with the National Quality Standards and Goodstart policy and procedures.
  • Using and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide to support Senior Educators and Teachers in the delivery of high-quality education programs.
  • Building and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to a professional and positive work culture.

If you have strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, plus hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (ACECQA approved equivalent), then we want to meet you!
