Looking for a chance to bring your knowledge and creativity to an environment where you’ll be truly valued? Excited by the chance to shape pedagogy and practice in your room?  Interested in creating a curriculum that aligns with children’s needs, interests and ideas? Then we’d love to talk to you about which of our amazing opportunities would be the best fit for you.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll inspire a love of learning in children and foster their development through purposeful, intentional teaching practices that are delivered with creativity and energy. You will build meaningful relationships with families, so each child has a strong sense of belonging that supports them to thrive. Your love of teaching will be reflected in how you mentor and guide educational practices in your room, and in your work with the broader centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, to ensure you’re achieving optimal outcomes for children.

Welcome to Wonderful Wondall, where our community isn't just a group of individuals, but a tight-knit family. Nestled in a charming old weatherboard house, once a church and now a daycare, our center, fondly known as 'Our Little Crooked House,' exudes warmth and security, making it a true home away from home. Laughter fills the air here, fostering deep connections among children, families, friends, and our dedicated team. Catering to children aged from six weeks to school age across four rooms, our team, all certified in first aid, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to provide top-notch early learning experiences. With a maximum of 55 children per day, our intimate setting fosters a strong sense of community and family. At Wonderful Wondall, our play-based curriculum, rooted in the Early Years’ Learning Framework, ensures that each child's unique interests, needs, and strengths are nurtured. Our Kindergarten room collaborates closely with local schools, preparing our Kindy kids for the transition to 'big school,' while our annual mini school fair connects families with local education leaders. Outside, our expansive yard offers ample space for exploration and play, complete with shade sails, sandpits, and diverse outdoor equipment. Here, children engage in physical, social, and messy play, fostering both development and a love for nature. Environmental sustainability is paramount to us, as evidenced by our initiatives such as worm farming, herb gardening, recycling education, and soon-to-come bush tucker garden. The produce from these gardens finds its way into our on-site meals, prepared by our skilled cook using fresh, nutritious ingredients. As a full-service center, we provide not only stimulating learning experiences but also nutritious meals and even nappies for our littlest attendees. At Wonderful Wondall, we're not just a daycare—we're a community dedicated to nurturing and empowering every child who walks through our doors.
